Flash Quality

There are seven types of quality setting in Flash: unknown，low，autolow，medium，autohigh，high，best. By default Flash will publish your movie at quality="high". Setting the quality setting to "best" is a good idea if you are doing any scaling or rotating of images. Leaving the quality as high can lead to artifacting and jaggies as seen in the tests here. However, it does consume more resources.

Action Script：

_quality = "best";

or choose "Best" Quality from HTML tab at Publish Setting.

How to make textfield uneditable

You have two options...
1. Make it readonly:<input type="text" ... readonly />

2. Make it unfocusable:<input type="text" ... onFocus="this.blur();" />

The former being the better method, as the second one relies on the user having JavaScript enabled...

Today's work:

Inspired by the movie, I have sketch this, scanned in to computer (with Kelly's help :D ) and do the coloring all in flash... hoho, getting used to draw thing at flash already.

Well, feel tired... get up at 5am and go pasar help my father, since chinese new year is approaching, it's kinda busy. :3

After redesign my blog, hehe, I feel a lot better coz the previous one is really suck. T_T

hoho... Having my holiday for about a month. Now everyday just relax, read book, doing my own flash project (e-card) and planning for next submission on coding contest at planet source code web site.

Well, this one is devoted to my love one ^_^

But my brother said it is so cruel for the angel... naked and expose to cold... :3

Some Tips in Windows XP

Remove the built-in windows messenger in win XP

The Microsoft may just want to promote to usage of its messenger services thus Windows Messenger is one of the component in Windows Xp, but once you have installed the MSN Messenger, you may feel the Windows Messenger take out the hardisk space (at least I think so ^_^) and sometimes once you connected to internet, both programs trying to linked to the .Net passport services and pop up some notifications, it is rather annoying.... Hey, how to get rid of the Windows Messenger? It is not option to remove it in add/remove program! Well, try this:

press the "Start" button, select "Run". In "Run" prompt window, type the following command:

RunDll32 advpack.dll, LauchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Then you will see the progress on uninstalling Windows Messenger, once finished, it will prompt you to restart the computer and it's done, viola!

"With MSN Messenger, the Windows Messenger can retired already!"

"Type this command in Start --> RUn, Windows Messenger will gone forver, hoho~!"

How to stop the Restart cause by MsBlast virus or spy ware

Have you ever been distrupt by MsBlast Virus? It occurs while you online, An alert window pop up on screen stated "The system is shutting down, Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsave change will be lost..." and some spywares is getting quite advance, when you use antispyware to remove them, the warning windows will shown and restart your computer... and you just can't close the windows, ah... how can I do nothing and let those stupid thing restart my computer? Okay, lets update the antivirus and antispyware program and crash them! Then it try to restart the computer on the half way, headache... What can we do to deal with this System Shutdown?

hehe, Afraid not, Start-->Run, and type "Shutdown - a" and the alert windows is closed! Grab this opportunity to continue update and scan you hardisk :9
